South Africa will publish the Names of Coronavirus Patients Who Decided to Run Away
As the country is still battling to contain the spread of the deadly and contagious virus, some citizens are not very cooperative with the government to aid their struggle. The government has since issued a serious warning to those who have failed to come forward, stating that the government has got all the resources needed to identify and name them to the public.
South Africa’s Health Minister, Mkhize, issued a stern warning to those patients who have contracted the raging respiratory illness, that failure to turn up to the health facilities could lead to their names being published.
All patients who have been infected, or those who have been into contact with infected persons, are, therefore, urged to avail themselves to medical facilities for testing and carrying out necessary measures, which will help the government, together with the ministry of health, to counteract the damage so far caused by the global pandemic.
Mhkize further stated that, in an attempt of reducing and preventing any form of contact with already infected individuals, the government may launch an initiative of publishing the names of those who have and had tested positive for the virus. This together with the looming 21-day lockdown are some of the measures that have been taken by the South African government to stabilize the country.
Well, the entire fraternity of South Africa just hopes for the best outcome of all this.
