Sarah Cohen Allowed Back To Her Home
Sarah Cohen wife to the late Dutch tycoon Ton Cohen has been allowed by the court to go back to her home to pick her personal effects. The widow was accompanied by detectives from the DCI and lawyers representing the Cohens; Cliff Ombeta and Danstan Ombiri.
She had earlier prayed the court to give access to her home so that she would pick her personal effects like clothes stating that it was expensive buying new clothes while she had enough back in her room at Kitisiru. The lady was given directives to gave access to only two rooms that she used while there and leave the rest of the house untouched. The detectives accompanying Sarah were armed with cameras to record all the activities that took place in the house. Ombeta speaking on this said,"Nothing else…not even a knife…not even a spoon…not even salt…not even wine,” the lawyer said.
Sarah was arrested back in August 2019 after the gruesome murder of Tob Cohen in his Kitisuru mansion. His body was found dumped in a septic tank. Sarah was arraigned in court with murder charges among others to which she entered please of not guilty in all.
Tob had gone missing on July 19 2019 and the arresting of Sarah followed on 28th of August 2019 after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation launched investigations that were leading to her as a prime suspect of the gruesome murder of her Dutch husband.
The Dutch tycoon had earlier expressed fear of his life before the regrettable happening and claims had it that they had had raws with Sarah prompting him to want to file a divorce and get separated with his Kenyan wife Sarah. Fate had it that it wasn't to be as Cohen was found lifeless in a septic tank,in his own home at Kitisuru.
