There are those who suffer hunger due to scarcity of rain and foods. In the past weeks residents in the Northern part of Kenya have been facing a locust invasion that the government is trying to contain.
The president in his press briefing at the Mombasa state house on 14th January 2020 has allocated funds that will help and support all Kenyans who are affected by these disasters. He says 5.2 billion has been allocated to help in the resettlement, reconstruction of infrastructure that was destroyed by this natural phenomenon.
He says that
the money will be used to help the victims and ensure that they have rebuilt houses
