NYERI: Police Looking For a Suspected Corona Virus Patient Who Went Missing
The police are looking for a woman who has vanished after she exhibited corona virus like symptoms, and carried a child with her. This woman went missing from Out Span Hospital in nyeri County carrying her seven year old child with her in her escapade.
The central Regions Commissioner Wilfred Nyangagwa confirmed this incident noting that investigations were ongoing to establish the whereabouts of this woman. She had flown in the country not so long ago and decided to take off after the staff at the facility took too long to attend to her.
“Up to now we are tracking this woman, in fact, it is now a criminal offence and once we arrest her we will confine her and her child to an isolation ward,” Nyangagwa told the press. He urged Kenyans to report persons who had flown from abroad recently to help curb the spread of the virus. The case of this particular woman will be taken as a criminal offence that attracts a fine of Ksh 30,000 or a three year jail term or both.
The DCI released a statement nothing that person who will be selling any items that in turn turns to affect people will be held responsible urging traders to disinfect their merchandise.
