Miguna Miguna Back To Canada
Miguna Miguna has finally opted to go back to his exile country Canada after his efforts to return to Kenya bore no fruits. This is after the Kenyan government had issued the red alert terming Miguna as an unruly passenger and this rendering him to get stuck in Berlin as no plane wanted him on board.
Taking to his twitter account, the self proclaimed leader of National Resistance Movement (NRM) wrote.” Just arrived in Toronto from Berlin. No ‘red alerts’ in Asia, Europe and North America. Thanks to the freedom fighters from all over the world for their solidarity during my two years of torture and exile. I will never surrender to cowards like Uhuru Kenyatta AND Raila Odinga.” The attorney General had been given and order by the court to explain the reason s behind the dismissal of the court orders that exceed 18 regarding the Miguna case. Paul Kihara Kariuki insisted that the self proclaimed general did not have appropriate travel documentations and until he presents them, he could not be allowed into the country.
He said that Miguna had failed to have his passport renewed in any Kenyan Diplomatic Office and hence his return to Kenya could not be allowed. Miguna’s lawyer one John Khaminwa called off the claims by the Attorney General stating that they would stage a disregard of the court proceedings and orders against all the people who are termed as respondents in Miguna’s case. “We will file contempt of court proceedings against all the respondents including Attorney General. I’ll be in court early next week. What the country is doing to Miguna is immoral, completely immoral! He may have his weakness but that is not an excuse to keep him out of the country at all. Kenya is not for perfect people.” The lawyer said. H added that the executive wanted the people to follow court orders that they themselves were dismissing. Miguna has said that he won’t go slow on his quest to return to the country and wouldn’t bow to any intimidation or threats by those in power.
