Latest Updates On Coronavirus Reports in South Africa
As a new week kicks off, the spirit of Mzansi seems to be renewed. Most citizens are optimistic of the government’s implemented initiative of lockdown, and probably some still do not get the hang of the country’s current state. So far so fairly done.
Let’s have a look at three of the top stories that have been running:
1. First death recorded by Ladysmith as an increment of 1187 confirmed infections realized
It seems the SA government’s action against the COVID-19 virus is effectively heading to a good direction. This has been noticed as the number of new confirmed cases recorded over the weekend is just 17, compared to the prior when the country recorded over 100 cases per day as were briefed by the Minister of Health. Well, not so much is expected as at yet, but the S.African community is convinced to look forward to a quick recovery.
2. Ntsiki Mazwai ‘Unrestlessness’
Radio 2000 presenter, Ntsiki Mazwai, earlier today decided to share a piece of her mind with The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa. She apparently wrote a letter displayed on her blog platform complaining about the lockdown move initiated in the country. In her short “speech”, she laments how the citizens will clear their bills at end month if they can’t work their income. Ok, at least she spoke her mind.
3. Thami Mazwai Disappointed by Ntsiki’s Letter
After viewing his daughter’s letter which was addressed to the president, Ntsiki’s father, Thami Mazwai has considered it to be a disappointment. He has further confirmed to the people through SowetanLive that he believes the actions the government has taken are for the good and is in full support.
All we can do now is just wait as the government’s plans take course.
